Product Information: Data: Variables from global projections (60km) over UK for monthly, seasonal or annual data
Process Title:
Data: Variables from global projections (60km) over UK for monthly, seasonal or annual data
Abstract:
Generates a subset of data for a chosen variable from the global projections for RCP2.6 or RCP8.5, giving monthly, seasonal or annual averages. Absolute values or anomalies are available for a given time period and location (e.g. a regional average). Choice of all 28 global set members or a subset of either the PPE-15 or the 12 members used to drive the regional models.
User Guide:
For guidance on the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) and how to interpret the plots, please see the guidance pages.
Warning:
Before using this product, please read the UKCP18 Guidance on Caveats and Limitations as well as the conditions of us under the Open Government Licence.

Variable | Variable | While all variables are available for the PPE-15 subset of UKCP Global (i.e. the 15 members of the perturbed parameter ensemble using the Hadley Centre’s climate model HadGEM3-GC3.05) this not the case for the CMIP5-13 subset. For RCP8.5, only precipitation and mean temperatures are available for all members of CMIP5-13. For RCP2.6, some members of CMIP5-13 do not have any future projections for all variables. Further details are available in the guidance on data availability, access and formats. | string | item | True | |||
